The No Entry Project

We prepare and certify No Entry Navigators in government agencies, and community-based organizations, to provide intentional, targeted interventions to at-risk and justice-involved youth.

The No Entry Initiative

The No Entry Initiative is committed to changing the course of transitional-age young people through intense diversion, prevention, behavior modification and workforce development training and certification. Lack of education, poverty, absence of economic opportunities, and social injustice has birthed an all-time high in substance abuse, violence, criminal conduct, homelessness, mass incarceration, and death. History has proven that removing a person's hopes, dreams, and prospects for success decreases that person's drive toward individual betterment. A support system for encouragement inspires individuals to dream and believe in their greater prospects in life. Together, we can give our young people a reason to live, a vision, and a purpose that may change the world.

No Entry Navigators

We prepare and certify No Entry Navigators to provide intentional, targeted interventions to at-risk and justice-involved young people. No Entry Mission

  1. To Teach and Empower young people at significant risk for incarceration, substance use, and gun violence how to navigate criminogenic thinking errors and incorporate critical thinking tools that improve decision-making to prevent justice involvement, and harm to self, and the community.
  2. To Provide Occupational Skills Training, certification, and job placement assistance in addition to access to resources for personal, professional, and financial growth.
  3. Improve Public Safety, increase community support, and promote awareness of the benefits of early engagement, financial investment, and shared language to influence positive changes to negative cultures.

Our goal is to bring our unique No-Entry Solutions Training models to Prince George's County and other counties throughout the U.S. where services for justice-involved persons and their families are much needed and underrepresented. To be successful in this mission, it is imperative to integrate the insights and ideas of stakeholders in the Faith-based, Non-Profit, Education, Mental Health, Business, and Criminal justice communities to create systems of change that empower people to overcome the negative patterns and beliefs that lead to succumbing to the many pitfalls of society.

The Problem

Young people today face a more arduous pathway to success than ever before, with so many more falling victim to Poverty, Addiction, Homelessness, Violence, Mass Incarceration, and Death at younger ages and at higher rates than we've ever seen in the past.

What We've Learned

After spending decades working with some of the most challenging populations in our society, we have learned that the most effective way to help someone with behavioral, social, and economic barriers and who may be at risk for a life of jails, institutions, and substance abuse is to intervene early and often before the onset of criminal behavior.

Solutions

There are many obstacles to overcome. Unfortunately, lack of resources, insufficient training, stigmas, systematic marginalization, and limited buy-in from community partnerships have limited the widespread adoption of uniform intervention services. Therefore, to address the growing spectrum of public safety challenges in Prince George's County, In 2023 Davis Endeavors in partnered with The SuCoy Learning Center and Mettle Works Behavioral Health combining decades of lived experience assisting populations in navigating adverse environments with evidenced based and behavioral health interventions and workforce development and skills training to provide effective wraparound services to affected persons and their families.
