Ebony N. Johnson is a DC Native, Mother, and Executive Director of Another Choice Another Chance DC 501(c) 3. She is dedicated to supporting, inspiring and educating youth and adults to live beyond mental health, substance abuse and behavioral health disorders.
Life experiences inspired her to put time into addressing mental and behavior health issues, substance abuse and trauma in the District of Columbia. For 12 years she provided services to DC /MD crime victim families.
Ms. Johnson promotes Social and Emotional Learning. In 2018 she created Loosen Up a workshop that aims to increase youth awareness of mental health. She is a certified outpatient lay counselor , Mental Health First Aide and Peer Support Specialist.
Ms. Johnson also serve on Ward 4 DC Heath Advisory Board and with Catholic Charites Welcome Home Re Entry program, She enjoy bridging the gap between communities and resources.
