Joel Castón
Joel Castón
Chief Prison Reform & Social Justice Outreach Advisor
Mr. Castón’s long walk to freedom spans 27 calendar years since the age of eighteen. “I’ve always been inspired by the story of my beloved historic figure Nelson Mandela; I never thought I would also serve 27 years of incarceration like he did.”, Castón remarked, as he reflects on his incarceration experience. Castón’s journey from South East D.C. to the world of Wall Street was driven by his desire for self-determination. However, “True freedom can never be achieved until one is financially free.” Castón stresses. This mindset was the impetus behind the successful launch of his self-published investment series “Currency Catchers” available on Amazon.
